Guest Post Guidelines for Slocum Hub

We aim to provide our readers with insightful, well-researched content that helps them understand and navigate the evolving AI landscape.

1. Content Focus

AI-related topics should center around but not be limited to:

We are particularly interested in well-researched, data-driven articles with actionable insights for businesses and professionals.

2. Content Quality Standards

We are committed to publishing only high-quality, original content. Please ensure your submission meets the following criteria:

  • Original Content: All articles must be original and unpublished. We do not accept articles that have been previously published or repurposed from other sources. DO NOT SEND A.I. WRITTEN POSTS. Using a.i. for a post structure is okay, but not all content. We know what to look for.
  • Length: Articles should be a minimum of 1,200 words. In-depth and comprehensive articles (up to 2,500 words) are encouraged.
  • Clarity and Structure: The article should be written and have a logical structure. To enhance readability, use headings, subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs.
  • Research and Data: Back your claims with reputable sources, studies, or data. Include links to credible, non-promotional sources where appropriate.
  • Actionable Takeaways: Provide practical insights or takeaways for the reader. We aim to offer content that is both informative and useful.

3. Tone and Style

We encourage a professional but conversational tone. Your content should be engaging, informative, and free of jargon unless it is clearly explained.

  • Write for a broad audience, from AI enthusiasts to business professionals who may not have a deep technical background.
  • Avoid overly technical language unless necessary, and always explain complex concepts clearly and simply.

4. Linking Policy

We allow a limited number of links in your guest post. Please follow these guidelines:

  • External Links: You may include up to two non-promotional external links to reputable sources for supporting data or additional reading.
  • Internal Links: Where appropriate, we encourage you to link to other relevant articles on Slocum Hub.
  • Promotional Links: You may include one link to your website or portfolio, provided it is relevant to the content. This link will be placed in the author bio, not within the body of the article. 
  • We reserve the right to remove any links we deem overly promotional or irrelevant to the content.
  • Due to our relationship with our sister company, we are not interested in guest posts that link to web design or development websites.

5. Author Bio

You can submit a brief author bio (50–100 words) with links to your website, social media, or portfolio. You are also welcome to include a professional headshot (optional).

6. Formatting Requirements

Please submit your article in Google Docs or as a Microsoft Word file. Ensure that your submission includes:

  • Proper formatting (headings, subheadings, bullet points, etc.)
  • Links to credible sources in hyperlinked text (avoid pasting raw URLs)
  • Images or graphics must be royalty-free, and sources must be credited
  • images should be sent separately and NOT in a Word document.
  • The featured image size should be 1500 X 1000 pixels.

7. Editorial Process

Our editorial team reviews all submissions and may edit for clarity, style, and formatting. We will notify you if your article requires substantial revisions.

  • Plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.
  • Once submitted, please allow 2-3 weeks for a response.
  • We reserve the right to reject any content that does not meet our guidelines.

8. SEO and Keywords

Please provide a primary keyword or phrase that your article targets. We suggest including this keyword in the title, headings, and a few times throughout the article in a natural and non-repetitive manner. Your title should have keyword relevance.

9. Copyright

By submitting an article to Slocum Hub, you agree to grant us the rights to publish and promote your content on our website and related channels (newsletters, social media, etc.).

10. How to Submit

Please submit your article to [email protected] with the subject line: Slocum Hub Guest Post Submission: [Your Article Title]. Include your author bio and any relevant images in the submission. Do not embed images in Word documents.
